ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
La Jolla Elementary is a highly regarded public elementary school located in Moreno Valley, California. The school is known for its exceptional academic programs, dedicated faculty and staff, and vibrant learning community.
La Jolla Elementary serves students in TK through fifth grade, and offers a comprehensive curriculum that is aligned with state and national standards. The school is committed to providing a rigorous academic program that challenges students to reach their full potential, while also fostering a love of learning and a sense of curiosity.
The faculty and staff at La Jolla Elementary are highly skilled and committed to student success. They are passionate about teaching and are dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. The school also offers a range of extracurricular activities, including music, art, STEAM, and sports programs, to provide students with opportunities to explore their interests and develop their talents.
La Jolla Elementary is also known for its strong community involvement. Parents are encouraged to be active participants in their children's education and the school offers a range of opportunities for parent involvement, including volunteering, fundraising, and parent-teacher conferences. The school community is also committed to fostering a sense of social responsibility and community service, and students are encouraged to give back to their community through service projects and other initiatives.
STEAM For All
La Jolla is proud to be a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics) school. The STEAM pathway provides students with opportunities for inquiry based learning and rich academic conversations that prepare our students to be 21st century learners. Teachers are encouraged to use these STEAM Labs as catalysts that inspire future STEAM lessons that they plan within their own classrooms.
